Equi-Tape® FAQs

Tape Color

There is no difference in product specifications based on colors though some tape colors are only available in either Classic or Advantage. Colors choice is a matter of preference. We accept the following credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. We only take payment once your order has been shipped. We also accept payment by PayPal or Amazon Pay. If you decide to use either of these two methods, you’ll be taken to either the PayPal or Amazon Pay website, where you’ll be prompted to log in and process your payment. You’ll then be directed back to our merchant website once your transaction is complete.

Coat Length

Equi-Tape® will adhere to different coat lengths with the proper surface preparation, use of stretch and technique. Each application requires a proper amount of stretch and recoil to be effective. Longer coats may require more stretch and shorter coats may require less stretch for the application to be most effective. Tape is designed to adhere to hair, not skin, so taping a freshly shaved horse should be done with special consideration. Other Modalities

Taping will enhance the effects of other modalities such as massage, chiropractic, laser, acupuncture, and acupressure. These benefits will continue throughout the duration of the application.

Equi-Tape® Adherence

Equi-Tape® adheres best to clean and dry hair. We recommend the use of microfiber cloths and rubbing alcohol to thoroughly clean the coat after proper grooming. Fly sprays, oils, and conditioning products can interfere with tape adhesion. Simple soap shampoos are recommended for bathing your horse prior to tape use. Please avoid shampoos or products with emollients or shine-enhancing ingredients. To learn proper tape

Ordering and delivery

Can I place an order without creating an account?

Yes. You can place an order as a guest with no obligation to create an account. We do recommend that you create an account, however, if you’d like to check your order history, save your shopping basket items, and payment details, and access other essential Equi-Tape® information. It’s quick and easy to create an account.

Where is my tape order confirmation?

Your order confirmation is automatically sent to your email address when you place an order. If you haven’t received your order confirmation within 24 hours, please get in touch at info@equi-tape.com just in case there’s a problem with your order. Please check your mailbox’s spam or junk folder before contacting in case the order confirmation has been diverted there.

Where is my Equi-Taping™ course confirmation?

For all education orders Equi-Tape® fulfills same day Monday thru Friday 10 am -5 pm EST. If you have not received an email from the education platform (noreply@reachout365.com) with in 24 hours, (note: please check your spam and junk folders first as many email providers flag this as spam) contact us immediately. Equi-Tape® observes all major USA holidays. If you have any questions please feel free to call or email us. 

If you haven’t received your order confirmation within 24 hours, please get in touch at info@equi-tape.com just in case there’s a problem with your order.

When will my product ship?

Equi-Tape® ships next day on all product orders. Please note we can not ship on USPS recognized holidays. 

Can I track my order?

Yes. We’ll provide updates at every stage of your order, from the moment you place it, to despatch and delivery. In your delivery confirmation emails or by logging into your account, you’ll receive a tracking reference which you can use to check the progress of your order online.

Returns

Can I return or exchange an item?

We are committed to excellence in our product and our customer service. If you are dissatisfied with the product for any reason, please contact us at sales@equi-tape.com and we will be happy to address any issues you might have.

Note: Elastic kinesiology tape adhesive can be adversely affected by various environmental and storage factors such as humidity and extreme temperatures. Therefore, we cannot guarantee product quality on tape purchased from outside sellers. Additionally, as Equi-Tape, Inc Holding has no control over individual customer’s storage and handling of the tape they purchase, full product refunds or exchanges will apply only to tape purchased within the past 30 days. If outside the USA a "ship back" fee will be charged.

Course sales are final. There will be no refunds for any Equi-Taping™ courses.
