Rebecca Haddock is a certified Equi-Tape Practitioner and educator with a background in business management and horse training. She resides in Colorado with her son, dog, and horses. Rebecca grew up in the Western world and has professional experience in colt-starting, natural horsemanship, and rehabilitation work. She is also training in dressage! Kinesiology tape is the cornerstone of her business SS Tape and Rehab, which focuses on whole-horse rehabilitation. Her leadership, business savy, and horse sense has been an integral part of the company’s growth and vision moving forward. She is passionate about helping horses and empowering people. Her goal is for Equi-Tape to educate horse owners about the benefits of kinesiology taping and build a global community of practitioners who have a life-changing impact on the equine world.

 

 

Calandra Vargas-Ohanlan- Director of Social Media and Communications at Equi-Tape and Co-Owner of SS Tape and Rehab

Calandra is a life-time horsewoman who has training in multiple disciplines but loves natural horsemanship, dressage, jumping, and trail riding, usually bareback. She is a certified Equi-Tape practitioner and co-owner of SS Tape and Rehab, Equi-Tape’s top performing distributor and education team in the US. Calandra is passionate about donating her skills to rescue horses and hopes to one day run her own rescue of performance horses. She considers herself a “tape-artist” and is constantly pioneering ways to effectively tape difficult cases like DSLD. She loves helping horse owners of all levels better understand horse behavior and health. She has a background in public policy, political communications, advocacy, and has ran for Congress and County Commissioner. Her leadership in marketing, product development, and branding of Equi-Tape on social media has helped equestrians all over the world learn about our life-changing product. 

Dr. Beverly Gordon

Founder of Equi-Tape Inc. and The Horse In Motion Inc. 

Dr. Beverly Gordon designed the first kinesiology tape for horses. Her commitment is to help horses heal, maintain soundness, and improve performance with an affordable, non-invasive, and highly effective modality. Her experience as a human and horse chiropractor and as a bio-mechanics specialist makes her a highly sought after Equi-Tape practitioner and educator in Wellington, Florida. Dr. Gordon served as director of the New York Chiropractic Outpatient facility and taught clinical sciences at the New York Chiropractic College. She has consulted for numerous veterinary facilities, treats all levels of horse clients including Grand Prix and Olympic level athletes. She has published over 60 articles on equine-related topics, including a column for Sidelines Magazine called The Horse In Motion. Dr. Gordon has also founded the Equi-Taping Method, a systematic approach to effective kinesiology taping. Equine healthcare professionals can now become certified Equi-Tape Practitioners through education courses, allowing them to expand their practice and help horses thrive. She has sparked an internationally following of horse enthusiasts that are committed to effective alternative therapies. Her passion is to truly understand the horse, prioritize his wellbeing, and help him maximize his potential. Dr. Gordon has revolutionized the way horses are treated and trained and hopes that Equi-Tape will becomes a house-hold name and a modality that every discipline uses around the world.

Judith Rathbone, CEBP, CETP

Judith is a renowned equine sports specialist, writer and speaker with Certifications in Equi-Bow and Equi-Taping methodologies. Her understanding of functional anatomy and experience as a high performance athlete has given her the ability to effectively address her clients needs. Her experience in helping Grand Prix level athletes attain and maintain performance excellence has made her a highly sought after Equine Bodywork Practitioner. 

 

Lumi Michelle Rolley, ESMT

Lumi is a certified Equi-Taping® Practitioner and instructor currently practicing in the New York metro region. She regularly uses Equi-Taping® Methods and Strategies with her clientele. Lumi is also certified in Equine Sports Massage by Equissage, a certified Reiki Practitioner, and has training in allied therapies, including Equine Craniosacral and Myofascial Release. She integrates energy work with massage and seeks a holistic approach to foster the horse’s wellbeing by integrating various modalities. Lumi’s focus is to bring the horse back into balance to enable the body to heal itself, handle the daily rigors of athletic training and  competition. Lumi is one of the top taping practitioners and instructors in the world offering a wealth of knowledge, experience and inspiration.

  

Mary Ann Simonds, BS, MA

Mary Ann has 40 years of professional experience in the horse industry and a scientific background in behavioral equine ecology( B.S.) and Human-Animal Interactions/Equestrian Psychology (M.A.). Mary Ann has pioneered a number of supportive therapies for horses. She developed a line of magnetic therapy products and stress management remedies for horses and has researched and tested a number of therapy products for other manufacturers. A lecturer at various vet schools on behavior and natural health, Mary Ann now mostly teaches, coaches, and mentors other professionals. A believer in the benefits of Equi-Tape®, Mary Ann first started teaching “Taping for Training” back in the 1990s realizing the importance of myofascia and proprioception to help horses learn to use muscles correctly. Mary Ann now uses Equi-Tape® not just for training but to assist horses in a number of areas and is thrilled to be an Equi-Tape® Instructor.
